Toshiba Electronic Imaging Solutions and British Formula 3 driver Mike Conway are pleased to announce their ongoing partnership in 2006. The blue-chip company first supported the Sevenoaks racer in his maiden Formula 3 season last year and were impressed with his quality performances over the 22-race series in 2005.
Adam Sheppard, the Manaing Director for Toshiba TEC UK Imaging Systems Ltd said, "Toshiba worked closely with Mike last year and we deeply enjoyed his philosophy of hard work, attention to detail and focus on achieving quality results. We are delighted to continue our association with him this year and wish him all the best in his campaign for the British Formula 3 Championship." Mr Sheppard added that Toshiba Electronic Imaging Solutions planned to attend as many F3 races in England as possible and would be out in force to support Conway.
Conway said he was extremely happy to continue the relationship into this year and the future and hoped he would do justice to their extended support by taking out the title. "It is a real honour to be strongly affiliated with Toshiba," said the 22-year-old. "We have a lot of things planned together - they are really fired up and it is great to have them involved as part of the team. We are all really excited about it and aim to further build the relationship over the year."
Toshiba will be visiting Conway's team Räikkönen Robertson Racing in Woking for the unveiling of the 2006 livery in the upcoming weeks in time for the first test in mid-February.
