MIKE CONWAY AND 2MB SPORTS MANAGEMENT TEAM UP AT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL SHOW

NEC Birmingham, UK
12 January 2006

Sevenoaks's Mike Conway made his first public appearance with his new management team, 2MB Sports Management, at the Autosport International Show at Birmingham's NEC.

The 22-year-old joined Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell on the main stage as the two ex-Formula One drivers announced their new driver line-up.

Alongside Conway in 2MB's driver stable is freshly-signed Will Stevens, a 14-year-old karter from Oxshott, Surrey, and 20-year-old Tim Bridgman (Dunmow, Essex), who competed in the British Formula 3 Championship alongside Conway last year. Stevens and Bridgman will be racing in JICA in Italy and the Champ Car Atlantic Championship in the USA respectively in 2006.

Conway, who will drive for Räikkönen Robertson Racing as he fights for the British Formula Three crown this year, said his understanding of what was required to win the title was aided by his third-place in the Championship last year. "I'm extremely focused on the task at hand and 2MB are very motivated in helping me achieve my goals."

His manager Martin Brundle expressed his strong commitment to developing the next generation of British motorsport stars, saying he was excited about the upcoming year working with 2MB's select stable of young drivers.
