2 Poles, 2 Fastest Laps and 2 Wins for Conway

Formula Renault UK Championship rounds 11 and 12

Fortec Motorsport had a fantastic time at Croft last weekend when they had 2 drivers on the podium for the second race of rounds 11 & 12 of the Formula Renault championship.

Mike Conway continued his awesome form by taking 2 poles, 2 fastest laps and 2 wins in the most dominant display of driving this season by any driver. This along with Charles Hollings' best showing of the year with an impressive 4th in the first race and qualifying just 9 thousandths off of Conway's pace for the second race meant that the 2 drivers brought home a one, two for the team.

Both races were dogged by rain half way through but the two front runners were not phased at all by this.

Race one saw 3 Fortec cars in the top ten with Stuart Hall bringing his car home in 9th place. However, race 2 saw both Stuart and Ben go out in the treacherous conditions.

Fortec now lead the constructors championship by 122 points from Comtec Racing and are in a strong position for both this and the Driver's title if Conway can continue his stunning form.
