Severe Weather Postpones the Honda GP of St. Petersburg
28 Mar 2010
Dreyer & Reinbold Racing was ready to hit the
pavement today, but unfortunately severe weather has postponed the Honda Grand
Prix of St. Petersburg. The threat of lightning, associated with thunderstorms
and heavy rain showers has resulted in the IZOD IndyCar Series to reschedule
the race for tomorrow.
The Indianapolis-based squad will be back on
track in the morning for the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Tune in and
watch DRR drivers, Justin Wilson (No. 22 Z-Line Designs) and Mike Conway (No.
24 Dad's Root Beer) as they start from 4th and 10th respectively. The 100-lap
event will be broadcast live on ESPN-2 at 10:00 am ET. For more updates on the

What they have to say about the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg...
Dennis Reinbold, Co-Owner Dreyer & Reinbold Racing: "It's disappointing for our fans and sponsors. I know a lot of them can't make it back tomorrow. That part is a shame, but we want to do it the right way and have a good race. Our guys are ready to go. We had a great morning practice today and the cars were quick and were running a good race pace. We know what we have and we are just going to work it the best that we can. Even if it is a day late, we want to get out of here with a win."
