THB Clowes and 2MB Sports Management are pleased to announce they will be working together in 2006 to foster motor racing stars of the future. THB Clowes, the insurance broker that specialises in professional motorsport, first worked with 2MB director and Grand Prix, Le Mans and CART Champcar driver Mark Blundell, when THB Clowes Managing Director Karen Ellis insured the young Formula One driver.

Blundell, who with fellow former F1 combatant Martin Brundle oversees the specialist sports management company, said, "I have been insured by THB Clowes since the early '90s when I was in F1 and still insure through THB Clowes to this day; I have found them to be the best in the motorsport field. Karen Ellis has an in-depth understanding of the motorsport business and can identify and recommend solutions to meet the drivers and teams' needs, so it makes total sense to partner with THB Clowes for our client base."

The two companies have a shared philosophy of supporting young drivers into the international world of motor racing. 2MB currently manages three drivers - 14-year-old Will Stevens, 20-year-old Tim Bridgman and 22-year-old Mike Conway - and THB Clowes expressed having the three talented racers competing in karting in Europe, Champ Car Atlantic in the US and Formula 3 in Britain underscored the compatibility of 2MB as a partner.

Conway , in his second year of British F3, spoke on behalf of the 2MB drivers at THB Clowes's London office. "For young drivers such as myself, the support from THB Clowes provides great peace of mind. Their backing is fantastic and i t is extremely reassuring to have their knowledge and experience at hand in this high-risk sport."

Ellis conveyed the partnership was indicative of THB Clowes commitment to the motorsport industry saying, "THB Clowes has been involved in motorsport for nearly 30 years. It is important that we continue this legacy on to the next generation and we are delighted to partner the 2MB team in helping to develop the stars of the future. We look forward to working together for many years to come."
